Information collected

We ask you for certain personal data to provide you with the service or products you request. For example, when you request to receive communications, make purchases or participate in our events or coaching sessions.  

In order to provide a service for you, you must provide us with certain information, and give us consent to have it, such as: your name and contact details. You may also choose to provide us with additional personal information.

We also collect information automatically about your visit to the website. The information obtained in this way, which includes browsing patterns, is only used in aggregate form, and as such cannot be used to identify you.

This aggregate information is used to:

• aid strategic development

• audit usage of the site

I process personal information collected via Authentic Me for the purposes of personal and professional development in order to:

• Providing the best possible service

• Processing any applications you may have made

• Providing you with information about products and services I offer

Consent

When you consent, I will send you (via email) marketing communications and news concerning Authentic Me's services, products, events and other promotions. You can opt-out at any time after you have given consent. You can also unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link on my emails. Security

I aim to provide all clients with a safe payment transaction experience. For this reason, on request, I can provide a PayPal link and/ or the details for an Electronic Funds Transfer. 

I am also committed to making sure that your information is secure. To avoid unauthorised access or disclosure, I have in place physical, electronic and manual procedures to safeguard and secure the information I collect from you.

Children under the age of 13

I do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 years. If you are under the age limit I will require your parents consent. 

Disclosures

I will not pass your information to any third parties.  

Data Retention

Your personal information will be retained for as long as necessary to carryout the purpose set out n this privacy policy (unless a longer retention period is required by law). In general, this means that I will keep your personal data for up to 5 years from your last session or whilst you are still receiving updates with your consent from me.

Your rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply to limited cases. We describe these rights below:

ACCESS - you may have the right to access and receive a copy of  the personal information we hold about you by contacting us using the contact information on the webpage. 

CHANGE, RESTRICT, DELETE - you may also have the right to change, restrict our use of, or delete your personal information.  Other than in exceptional circumstances, (like where we are required to store data for legal reasons) we will generally delete your personal information upon request.

OBJECT - You can object to (i) our processing of some f our your information based on our legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from us after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless we have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.

Here are some of the ways we protect information:

Systems are password protected and professionally administered.

• We only allow ourselves access to our coaching folders

• The computers on which we store information are kept secure in a number of different measures.

• We take all reasonable precautions to protect your information, but data can never be 100% secure.

• If our systems are compromised in some way, before data is removed then data may be revealed but thankfully, such an event is generally considered highly unlikely.

Please note that we will not be held liable for any breach of security unless we have been proven negligent.
